Exciting opportunity to join the Avera St. Luke's Laboratory as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)! This position is located at our Clinic.
This position may be eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus with a 3 year committment.
This position may be eligible for a $2,500 relocation bonus.

- Provide patient care in a modern, fast-paced laboratory.
- Collect appropriate specimen for diagnostic testing.
- Process specimens for transport to reference laboratory for specialized testing with necessary paperwork and documentations.
- Operate and maintain a variety of automated analyzers according to standard operating procedure.
- Collect data, prepare reports, answer correspondence and compile statistics as directed by the laboratory supervisor.
- Work effectively in a team environment, coordinating work flow with other team members.
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Completion of a clinical internship as part of degree program.
- National Certification:
MLS (ASCP) or equivalent. - Certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.
- Day/Evening shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- Between the hours of 7:
30 am - 8:
00 pm - No Overnights! - Shifts vary between 8 hours - 11 hours
- Every 3rd weekend and holiday
- Between the hours of 7:

- $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
